In each packet, made with bio materials, you will find a mix of wild plants seeds (annual and perennial) that, once in bloom, will transform terraces and gardens into oasis to attract and welcome butterflies.

This activity takes on an extremely important meaning since the populations of butterflies are decreasing by 40% at European level due to the habitat fragmentation. By creating new green spaces is a small contribution that can make a difference, especially in cities where green areas running low.

Butterflies, differently from bees (which pollinate plants within 3 km from their hive), are insects that migrate and cover great distances, in this way they pollinate plants far away from each other, promoting in this way the biodiversity.

Inside the packet you will find seeds of Anthemis arvensis L., Centaurea cyanus L., Papaver rhoeas L. and also seeds of Achillea millefolium L., Campanula trachelium L., Centaurea jacea L., Centaurium erythraea Rafn, Galium verum L., Hypericum perforatum L., Leucanthemum vulgare Lam., Linaria vulgaris Mill., Silene flos-cuculi (L.) Clairv., Silene latifolia Poir.

Useful information:

Content: 0,2 g of seeds enough for an area of 1 m² or for a medium size pot;

Sowing time: spring or autumn;

Blooming time:

• Spring sowing: summer for annual plants, spring for perennials
• Autumn sowing: spring-summer for both annual and perennials;

Exposure: sunny places;

Irrigation: necessary for germination and for sowing in pots. Not necessary after germination in the field.
