Due to a certain level of intrinsic physiological mortality, it may occur that, during the experience, some caterpillar does not complete its metamorphosis.

In nature, the achievement of the adult stage is granted approximately to 1 caterpillar out of 50. With ButterflyKit we can assume with a good confidence that, following our instructions, at least 3 caterpillars will be able to complete the metamorphosis. With MacaKit, at least 1 caterpillar will be able to complete the metamorphosis.

The average length of the ButterflyKit is approximately of 20/25 days while for the MacaKit is approximately of 30 days.
